This all-natural deodorant will not stop the body from sweating – that’s the body’s natural way to eliminate toxins – however, the arrowroot and healing bentonite clay will help absorb the moisture. Since natural body odor is caused by bacteria having an environment to grow, the magnesium hydroxide alkalizes the armpits to inhibit bacteria growth. The antibacterial and antifungal properties of coconut oil and essential oils help combat that bacteria as well. If you have been using a commercial deodorant, give your body about a week or so to detox since there is most likely a buildup of toxins from not being properly drawn out.
I put this deodorant to the true test. My children and I started practicing jiu jitsu about 6 years ago and do I sweat? YES!!! It was very gratifying, despite all my sweating, how my pits were odor-free.

Even back as a teen it never made sense that we would want to stop our bodies from sweating. That’s why I haven’t used antiperspirants for decades now, only deodorant. Then years ago, out of curiosity, I looked up the ingredients of my off the shelf deodorant; aluminum, parabens, alcohol, etc. Yeah, that was a mistake for the big deodorant companies and a blessing for me. I never went back to your typical deodorant again. Instead I found this deodorant and have used it ever since. I like the all natural ingredients and the fact that the Cedarwood has a mild fragrance, all while doing a great job.
Love this deodorant! I’ve been using natural deodorant for several years now and have struggled to find one that works well and doesn’t irritate my skin. This is the first one I’ve found that works for both my skin and getting rid of smell. It is so gentle that I can apply it right after shaving my arm pits, and works so well that I don’t have to wash them mid day to reapply! So far it is my favorite natural deodorant that I’ve tried to date!
This deodorant smells amazing and it actually works for me whether I’m working out or just hanging out at home. I definitely recommend this deodorant.
